CJ Riculan joined Education Week as a contract video and motion graphics producer in 2025. Previously, she produced animated content for media companies including National Public Radio, PBS KIDS and The Washington Post. Her work has been recognized by The Webby’s, Society of News Design, and the Edward R. Murrow Award for Sports Reporting. CJ has a bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism from Virginia Tech.
