The Poetry Foundation, in collaboration with author Maya Angelou, has developed new curriculum materials for teaching African-American poetry. They include "lesson plans, discussion guides, bibliographies, a glossary of poetic terms, and classroom activities designed to help students develop their own poetic voices."
