Global Education Award

Three educators have been awarded the 2007 Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Prize in Education by the New York-based McGraw-Hill Companies, a publishing, information and media group, recognizing their efforts to cultivate their students’ interest in global affairs. This year’s announcement marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the award, and the recipients each received a gift of $25,000 and a bronze sculpture. The recipients of this year’s award are: Lois B. DeFleur, Binghamton State University of New York; Reynauld Smith, Eastern High School, Washington; Vivien Stewart, Asia Society, New York City.
