College Concerns
High school students’ greatest concern about attending college is figuring out how to pay for it, but their parents are more worried about their children leaving home than about paying for tuition, according to a recent survey.
The national survey was conducted by the College Partnership Inc., a Lakewood, Colo.-based company that provides products and services to high school students who want to attend college. The poll found that 50 percent of the 1,750 students surveyed cited college costs as their greatest concern. Only 9 percent of the parents of all the students surveyed cited cost as their top concern.
