The Administrators column in the Jan. 14, 1998, issue of Education Week listed the wrong telephone number for ordering “Getting There from Here” from the Educational Research Service in Arlington, Va. The correct number is (800) 791-9308.

The Appointments section of the same issue listed the appointment of Paul Reville incorrectly. He is the co-director of the Pew Forum on Standards-Based Reform.

A story on the results of the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test in the Jan. 28 issue misreported the weight of the test in the selection of National Merit Scholarship recipients. The PSAT is the sole determinant in the selection of semifinalists for the scholarships.

An item in the Take Note column in the Jan. 28 issue misspelled the name of sportscaster Greg Gumbel.
