Todd A. Hitchcock has been named the vice president of global services for the Florida Virtual School, a state-sponsored provider of online courses for students nationwide. Mr. Hitchcock, 40, was previously the director of account management for eCollege, a Denver-based company that provides technology and services to distance-learning programs. Meanwhile, Pam A. Birtolo, 50, the virtual school’s chief academic officer and director of instruction, has become the school’s chief learning officer.
