Stephen Helgeson has joined the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards as its vice president for new business development.
Mr. Helgeson previously served as the product director for the Arlington, Va.-based Public Broadcasting Service’s TeacherLine, a national online professional-development service for K-12 educators.
The NBPTS, also based in Arlington, operates a program of voluntary national certification for teachers.
