Rating Downgraded

The 650-student Clever, Mo., school district saw its accreditation downgraded to “provisional” by the state this month because its superintendent hasn’t yet earned a certificate to hold the job. Richard Henson, 49, who has run the district since 1997, said he expects to earn the credential shortly.
