Pamela Saylor Lannon has been named the dean of the college of education at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla.
Ms. Lannon, 57, was the superintendent of the 30,000-student Lake County, Fla., schools from 2000 to 2004.
Lynn University, a private liberal arts college that offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, has about 2,400 students.
