Heidi A. Ramirez was sworn in last week as a member of the Philadelphia School Reform Commission. She is the director of Temple University’s Urban Education Collaborative. Ms. Ramirez, who was nominated to the panel by the governor of Pennsylvania, replaces James Nevels, who had chaired the commission.
