Michele Cahill was recently named the vice president for national program coordination and urban education at the Carnegie Corporation of New York, a New York City-based philanthropy that supports education and international-development programs. Ms. Cahill was formerly the senior counselor for education policy for New York City Schools Chancellor Joel I. Klein.
