Marilyn E. Stewart

Marilyn E. Stewart began a two-year term this month as the president of the New York City-based American Montessori Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Montessori teaching approach in private and public schools. Ms. Stewart, 57, will remain in her position as the head of school for the 165-student Red Oaks School in Morristown, N.J., during her term.
