Louis R. “Skip” Miller was recently elected the chairman of the board of DARE America, a national drug-abuse-prevention program for students. He replaces Ron Burkle, who served as chairman for the past nine years.
Mr. Miller, 57, is a founding partner of the Los Angeles law firm Christensen, Miller, Fink, Jacobs, Glaser, Weil and Shapiro. He has served on DARE’s board since 1996.
The Los Angeles-based Drug Abuse Resistance Education program is taught in nearly 80 percent of American school districts.
