Kim R. Burningham

Kim R. Burningham has been elected president of the National Association of State Boards of Education.

Mr. Burningham, 68, is the chairman of the Utah state board of education and had served as NASBE’s president-elect for the past year. He began his one-year term as the top officer this month.

The Alexandria, Va.-based NASBE represents 44 state boards of education.
