Jodi Grant will become the executive director of the Afterschool Alliance in June.

Ms. Grant, 37, formerly served as the director of work and family programs for the Washington-based National Partnership for Women & Families. In that position, she promoted work and family initiatives at the state and national levels.

The Afterschool Alliance is a nonprofit awareness and advocacy organization based in Washington that works to provide all children with access to after-school programs.
