Jo Ann Fujioka, 66, is the new president of Phi Delta Kappa International.
Ms. Fujioka, a private consultant based in Denver, will lead the organization for a two-year term, which started July 1. She previously served as the manager of special education and related services for the 85,000-student Jefferson County school system in Golden, Colo.
PDK, based in Bloomington, Ind., is a professional association for educators. It has more than 68,000 members worldwide.
