Guilty Plea in Baltimore

A former facilities manager for the Baltimore public schools has pleaded guilty to 11 criminal charges, including theft, conspiracy, bribery, and extortion, in a 13-year scheme to defraud the district of more than $3 million. Rajiv Dixit, 53, is to be sentenced in October.
