G. Reid Lyon

G. Reid Lyon has joined the board of directors of Children’s Progress, a New York City-based educational assessment company specializing in pre-K-3 math and literacy. Mr. Lyon, 57, the executive vice president for research and evaluation at Higher Ed Holdings and Whitney International University, both based in Dallas, is the former chief of reading research for the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
