Fred Frelow, Steven M. Gluckstern, N. Gerry House, and Pedro Noguera have been elected to the board of directors of the Alliance for Excellent Education, a Washington-based policy, research, and advocacy organization. Mr. Frelow is the director of early-college initiatives at the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation in Princeton, N.J.; Mr. Gluckstern is a retired co-founder of Capital Z Partners in New York City; Ms. House is the president and CEO of the Institute for Student Achievement, in Lake Success, N.Y.; and Mr. Noguera is a professor at New York University’s school of education.
