Don Vardell has become the executive director of the Excel Academy in Conroe, Tex., for the Aspen Education Group, a Cerritos, Calif.-based organization that provides boarding schools, camps, and wilderness programs that blend education and therapy. Mr. Vardell was previously the executive director of the Aspen Education Group’s Academy in Cummington, Mass.
