A story in the Sept. 8, 2004, issue of Education Week about a school funding lawsuit in Alaska incorrectly named a New York City-based advocacy organization that monitors similar legal cases (“Alaska School Aid System Challenged in Court”). It is called the Campaign for Fiscal Equity.
A Sept. 29 article on American Indian education incorrectly named the organization that sponsored a briefing on Capitol Hill (Bill Allows Construction Bonds for Indian Schools”). It was the Washington-based National Indian Education Association.
