Charter Education Schools

Susan Tave Zelman, the Ohio superintendent of public instruction, announced the state’s first “charter education schools” last month. Wright State University, in Dayton, and the College of Mount St. Joseph, in Cincinnati, will each receive $375,000 in federal funding to help produce teachers for high-poverty and rural schools.
