The foundation of a deceased alumnus of a private boarding school in Woodberry Forest, Va., has pledged $25 million to the man’s alma mater. The R.B. Terry Charitable Foundation in High Point, N.C., has announced it will give the Woodberry Forest School, a secondary school for 400 boys, the gift for unrestricted use. The foundation was created by Randall B. Terry Jr., who before his death in 2004 was the president and publisher of the High Point Enterprise. He graduated from Woodberry Forest in 1953.
