A coalition of education advocates is starting a statewide discussion on the condition of Arkansas public education through a series of community forums that were scheduled to be held around the state Nov. 15.
Forty-seven school districts were expected to participate in the Building Communities Just for the Kids Day at 57 locations statewide.
The same day, the organizers were set to release a consumers’ guide for parents designed to help them better understand new state and federal education laws.
