Teachers With Cameras

We’d like to share with your colleagues nationwide a glimpse into your educational communities. So we’re launching a new feature to highlight photos of “teachable moments,” shots that depict specific activities, teaching methods, or learning environments.

BRIC ARCHIVE

The setting can be anywhere: in school, on the playground, at home, or any place in town. The aim is to have you—or a colleague, parent, or student—supply the photo, as well as a sentence or two describing what we’re seeing, so that we can consider it for publication.

Ideally, we’re looking for aesthetically pleasing pictures that offer intriguing content (like the photo shown on this page).

If you’re interested, please send your photo as an e-mail attachment to teachermagazine@gmail.com.

Photos must be original and taken in the past 12 months. You may send as many pictures as you like, but please submit only one per e-mail.

In the body of the e-mail, along with a short description of the photo, please include your contact information and your grade, subject, and personal connection to the scene depicted.

If we’re interested in publishing your photo, we’ll respond to your email with a release form. Signing the form indicates that the photographer and all subjects in the photo have given you permission to publish it.
