Candidates Roll In for Florida Job
More than two dozen candidates, including Virginia Education Secretary Gerald Robinson and former New Jersey Education Commissioner Bret Schundler, have put their names in contention to replace Eric J. Smith as Florida's commissioner of education. Mr. Smith stepped down last week. John Winn, who served as education commissioner under former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, will hold the post on an interim basis.
