Youth Mentoring Grant

The Lenfest Foundation—a West Conshohocken, Pa.-based philanthropy that supports education, arts, and environmental programs in the Philadelphia area— has awarded a $2 million grant to Foundations, Inc., a Moorestown, N.J.-based nonprofit that offers after-school programs and classes. The three-year grant will be used to fund after-school programs and mentoring for 7th, 8th, and 9th graders and aims to decrease the dropout rate at schools in northwest Philadelphia.
