David Myers has been named the senior vice president and director of education and human development at the American Institutes for Research, a Washington-based nonprofit organization that conducts research on issues in health, education, and workforce productivity. Mr. Myers, 53, most recently was the senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Mathematica Policy Research Inc., a Princeton, N.J.-based firm that conducts research on issues related to education, employment, health care, nutrition, and welfare.
