Curtis Carroll
Curtis Carroll has been named an area superintendent for the 127,000-student Charlotte-Mecklenburg school district, based in Charlotte, N.C. Mr. Carroll, 46, previously was the executive director and managing principal for the 130,000-student Duval County public schools in Jacksonville, Fla., where he supervised the principals of three schools and served as a liaison between those principals and the district superintendent.
