Arizona to Take Over District
The Arizona state board of education has approved a consent agreement that calls for the state to take over the Colorado City Unified School District. The state board voted 8-1 on Dec. 5 to place the 350-student system in receivership, charging gross financial mismanagement by its administrators, said Vince Yanez, the executive director of the board.
