Kent S. Johnson is the new chief executive officer of Highlights for Children Inc., the publisher of Highlights for Children magazine.
Mr. Johnson, 36, who is only the third CEO in the Columbus, Ohio-based company’s 59-year history, previously served as the corporate vice president of strategic management. He was a member of the board of directors from 2002 to 2004.
In addition to publishing the monthly magazine, the company produces other educational materials for students and teachers.
