Appeal on Stickers
The Cobb County, Ga., school board, which was rebuffed by a federal judge for its placement of stickers labeling evolution a “theory, not a fact” on science textbooks, voted last week to appeal the ruling. The school board for the 102,000-student district voted 5-2 to appeal the decision issued on Jan. 13 by U.S. District Judge Clarence Cooper in Atlanta.
