E. Reggie Smith III, the manager of advanced distributed learning and training transformation for Booz Allen Hamilton, a management and technology consulting firm based in McLean, Va., was recently elected to the board of directors of the United States Distance Learning Association. Mr. Smith, 35, who will serve a three-year term, is the first African-American elected to the board, the association noted.
The USDLA is a Boston-based nonprofit organization with 4,500 members nationwide that promotes the development and application of distance learning for education and training.
