An item in the People in the News column in the Nov. 8, 2000, issue of Education Week (“People in the News”) gave an incorrect location for the headquarters of the Academy for Educational Development. It is based in Washington.
An article in the Oct. 25 issue about a study of teaching by the Educational Testing Service (“New Test Probes Superintendents’ Leadership Skills”) should have said that the research was sponsored by the Milken Family Foundation of Santa Monica, Calif.
