A story on school accountability in Michigan in the Jan. 28, 1998, issue of Education Week incorrectly identified Cortland Elementary School in Highland Park as unaccredited. Cortland Elementary received an interim accreditation in the 1996-97 school year. The district’s only unaccredited school is Highland Park Community Junior High School.
