Improving College Graduation Rates for Low-Income and Minority Students (Video)

About 10 years ago, Georgia State University realized it had a large achievement gap — low-income, minority, and first generation students were dropping out at high rates. So they began analyzing student data to figure out solutions. The university’s research has resulted in novel approaches across campus, including redesigned curriculum, special programs, and grants designed to retain students.
