The debate over the common standards is really heating up. And the rhetoric is getting a bit crazy.

In Indiana, supporters of the common core are turning to innuendo (“Will you hate yourself in the morning?” they ask) to build their case.

And in Alabama, critics are warning that the government is building facial recognition into the new common tests so that companies can learn what students’ families eat at home.

Seriously, folks.
