States have been targeting federal technology funds primarily into three areas: increasing student achievement, closing the digital divide, and integrating research-based technology practices into learning, concludes a report from the State Educational Technology Directors Association.
In addition, the report found that more than 40 percent of states were using federal technology dollars to improve reading or mathematics.
