“No Child Left Behind: Where Does the Money Go?,” is posted by the Education Policy Research Unit at Arizona State University.

Federal funds under the No Child Left Behind Act flow through states’ and school districts’ budgets into the pockets of individuals close to President Bush and his family, a policy brief published by the Education Policy Studies Laboratory at Arizona State University contends.

The author of the brief, education researcher Gerald W. Bracey, writes that states and schools use NCLB money for testing programs, curriculum materials, and supplemental educational services that are often owned by for-profit companies whose owners or officers are personally connected to the president.
