Johnathan Williams has been elected the chairman of the board of the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools.

Mr. Williams is the founder and co-director of the Accelerated School, a public-private partnership of charter schools in Los Angeles. The partnership’s network of schools serves 1,150 Latino and African-American students in prekindergarten through high school.
