Jo Lynne DeMary has been hired as the director of the Commonwealth Education Policy Institute’s Center for School Improvement, at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Ms. DeMary retired as Virginia’s state superintendent of public instruction at the beginning of the year.
