The New York City-based Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy, an international business community, has awarded The PNC Financial Services Group, a Pittsburgh-based banking and investment company, with the 2008 Large Company Excellence Award, in recognition of PNC’s investment in programs for underserved pre-K children. The CECP also awarded the 2008 Small Company Excellence Award to The Moody’s Corporation, a New York City-based company that provides credit ratings and risk analysis, in recognition of the company’s efforts to develop programs that encourage an interest in math, economics, and financing among high school students.
