AT&T Inc. Foundation, the charitable division of the telecommunications company, has awarded a $314,000 grant to the Florida Virtual School, an Orlando-based school that provides courses and instruction via the Internet to middle and high school students in Florida and 35 other states. FLVS plans to use the two-year grant to research the best practices being used by online educators and to develop its K-12 programs.
