Gay K. Campbell began her one-year term as president of the National School Public Relations Association last month.
Ms. Campbell is the director of communications for the 18,000-student Everett, Wash., school district.
The Rockville, Md.-based NSPRA provides school communication training and services to its 2,000 members.
