• An Oct. 24 Report Roundup item on a study of the New Century High Schools Initiative misstated the portions of graduates earning standard or advanced diplomas. It should have said that two-thirds of those graduating from demographically similar New York City high schools earned standard or advanced diplomas in 2006, compared with 46 percent of those graduating from the city’s New Century high schools.
