A story in the Jan. 5, 2005, issue of Education Week on the results of two recent international studies of student academic skills (“Poor Math Scores on World Stage Trouble U.S.”) gave an incorrect location for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, a professional organization. It is located in Reston, Va.
