An article in the May 23, 2001, edition of Education Week (“New Accreditor Gaining Toehold in Teacher Ed.”) about the Teacher Education Accreditation Council incorrectly stated Indiana University’s affiliation, as a result of information provided by TEAC. The university canceled its membership with TEAC on May 10 and continues to be a member of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
