A story in the May 10, 2006, issue of Education Week reported that almost one-quarter of school districts nationwide and nine states have “one-to-one” laptop-computer programs. The article should have attributed that information to “America’s Digital Schools 2006,” a forthcoming study by the Hayes Connection, based in Littleton, Colo., and the San Diego-based Greaves Group.
