Catholic Schools Closing

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit will close 17 schools at the end of the school year. Eight of the schools, including one operated by the Adrian Dominican Sisters, are high schools; nine are elementary schools. The nation has lost 136 Catholic schools in the last year, according the National Catholic Educational Association.
