Jennifer Igbonoba is a former newsroom intern for Education Week. She is a rising senior at The George Washington University majoring in economics and journalism. Before joining Education Week, Jennifer served as a digital news intern for NBC 4 Washington and a news editor of the college’s student newspaper, The Hatchet.
Jennifer hails from Dallas, Texas, and is a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Whataburger. At her college newspaper, she covered the intersection of politics and campus culture and fell in love with education reporting. When she’s not out in interviews, Jennifer can be found exploring the D.C. area and catching up on the latest albums.
